Biospecimen reconciliation in an afternoon.
SpeciCheck is a free, self-serve reconciliation tool for pharma
bioanalytical, clinical operations, and CRO teams. Drop your EDC
extract, central lab file, and PK lab file — SpeciCheck maps the
columns, joins on subject / visit / specimen / date, and hands back
a reconciled master table plus every anomaly worth a look.
A pilot from SpeciGen.
The same reconciliation engine trusted by pharma teams inside our
main biospecimen operations platform, packaged as a one-off tool.
How it works
- Upload up to 3 files. EDC extract, site collection log, central-lab file, PK-lab file. CSV, XLSX, SAS7BDAT, or XPT. No install, no IT ticket, no integration.
- Confirm the column mapping. SpeciCheck auto-detects subject, visit, specimen type, collection date, and sample-ID columns. Split combined columns inline or merge multiple columns into one canonical field.
- Get reconciled rows plus anomalies. One master table joined on the composite key. Every mismatch, orphan sample, date drift, and duplicate flagged by severity (Critical / Warning / Info). Export to XLSX or PDF.
Who it is for
- Bioanalytical scientists and clinical data managers currently reconciling EDC and lab data in Excel with VLOOKUPs.
- Clinical operations leads at pharma, biotech, and CROs evaluating tools before committing to a full platform.
- Study managers preparing for a database lock, submission, or interim analysis.
- Consultants running a one-off reconciliation for a client.
About data handling
The reconciliation engine is deterministic and rule-based. No customer
data is sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any external inference API. Files
stay in the SpeciCheck AWS environment (us-east-2), encrypted at rest
and in transit, and are automatically deleted 30 days after the pilot
ends. Work email required at signup — freemail and disposable domains
are blocked. Desktop-only.
